Gina’s Flower Power Pouch is a gorgeous little sewing project, perfect for anyone who loves hand stitching and creating something beautiful.
This kit will guide you through a combination of English paper piecing and decorative embroidery, with the opportunity to practise a lovely selection of stitches, including French knots, stem stitch, lazy daisy, straight stitch and bullions.
You’ll also discover Gina’s unique pouch construction method, designed to give your finished piece beautifully clean lines and crisp edges.

Choose between summer florals or blue florals for your kit. Please note fabrics will vary.
You will need:
Needles - No. 9 Applique are the best for the job
Thread - fine 50wt cotton. Aurafil is my favourite for paper piecing
Fabric glue pen ( optional) for English paper piecing hexie prep, or you can baste your fabric onto the papers.
Stranded embroidery thread - Selection of colours; you may also like to add a little silk ribbon to the mix
Embroidery scissors
Scissors or rotary cutter and mat for trimming the fabric.
