May Morris Needlebook

May Morris Needlebook
This needle book was inspired by the work of May Morris, who was the daughter of William Morris, the designer of wallpaper and fabric during the Arts and Crafts era. May Morris was the head of the embroidery department at Morris & Co. and contributed to the company's designs. She played an important role in the embroidery world and helped establish the Needle Arts Society and the beginnings of the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court. I wanted to honour her contribution to embroidery and give my pupils a chance to experience a few of her designs in this needlebook experience.
There are 5 fabric options available to choose from, or a lucky dip option too for those who don’t mind.
Kit contains everything including the printed text on fabric.
