Gina’s Flower Pouches are a gorgeous little project that’s perfect for building your skills while creating something beautiful. In this workshop you’ll practice English paper piecing and learn a selection of basic embroidery stitches, including French knots, stem stitch, lazy daisy, straight stitch, and bullions.
Gina will also guide you through her unique pouch construction method, designed to give your finished piece clean lines and crisp edges. By the end of the session, you’ll have a charming handmade pouch and a collection of techniques you can use in many future projects.
Perfect for makers who enjoy hand stitching and want to expand their embroidery and patchwork skills.
Requirement list will be provided upon booking. Kit options may also be available for this workshop.
Requirements:
Standard Embroidery kit
Selection of stranded embroidery threads for stitching flowers (example - DMC or Anchor)
Embroidery hoop +/- 7’’
