The Next Steps in Crochet class is an extension series of classes to cover the next steps of changing colours and understanding how stitches can be combined to create different patterns. We will explore some of the patterns available on line by Janie Crow. Class kits are available for purchase or you can bring you own yarn using the colour guide attached.
Materials to bring:
Yarn required: double knitting or 8 ply pure wool - no synthetics please as it makes crocheting into tight stitches very difficult.
Hooks: 4mm and 4.5mm to allow for tension check.
Scissors
Darning needle
Kit Options:
Full Ball Kits:
Includes 50g balls of yarn and printed pattern: One of either Frida’s Flowers or Fruit Garden = $70
Or both patterns and materials = $95
Half Ball Kits:
Includes 2x50g balls of yarn, remaining colours as 25g balls and printed pattern: One of either Frida’s Flowers or Fruit Garden = $45
Or both patterns and materials = $60
Bring your own yarn and buy printed patterns: $5 for both patterns.
If you wish to bring your own yarn:
50g balls of black and ivory are required for Frida’s Flowers (and small amounts of other colours)
50g balls of parchment and caramel are required for Fruit Garden (and small amounts of other colours)
