Now that you have completed your embroidery what do you do next? Learn how to wash your work and avoid dyes from running, blocking your work to straighten and stretch out all the creases and finally learn to lace and mitre corners so that you are ready to take your completed work to be framed. Class includes lacing thread and materials to learn the technique.

Learning outcomes and Requirements
This workshop will help you to prepare your needlework so that it is ready for framing. You will learn how to wash embroidery safely to avoid thread dyes from running and how to block and lace like a pro, even learning the technique of mitring corners. A small kit will be provided for you to practice these skills. Bring along any projects that you want help with and we will either make a start on them or discuss how to go about the process.
