Beginner’s Sampler Quilt

This quilt of 20 sampler blocks will teach you new techniques with every block. You will learn,

Colour selecting, How to use your rotary cutter, ruler and mat to accurately cut fabric as well as using pattern pieces, pins and scissors. Tips and tricks for accurate stitching and good practice for pressing blocks.

Measuring and cutting the borders will be the final class.

At the end of 10 weeks, you will have a completed top and be able to use your skills to make up your own quilt layouts.

Tutor: Susan Boucher Has been a patchwork tutor for many years, and enjoys designing her own blocks and sharing her extensive knowledge of patchwork and quilting with a special skill in choosing colours and accurate sewing.
