Date: Saturday 11th May
Time: 10 am - 3 pm
This fun day of sashiko stitching will include a Japanese lunch to keep the cultural theme going. You will learn this Japanese embroidery technique using the correct thread and needle to achieve these striking pattern designs.
Pick from one of the kits on offer to make a pincushion, a rice bag/ craft bag, a placemat or even a draft stop as shown in the pictures. You may also create a sampler of stitches that you could turn into a project of your own choosing. Kits may be purchased on the day for $30 -$65

Sashiko panels - $30 (half) $60( full size) plus threads these are a great way to try out different designs if you don't know where to start. There is no end to what you can make from them when they are complete.
Requirement for Class
Please bring along your embroidery essentials ie; scissors, pins, tape measure etc. I will be supplying you all with Sashiko needles in your kits.
Lunch will be supplied as part of continuing the Japanese theme for the day so do let me know if you have any dietary requirements.
