This fun day of sashiko stitching will include a Japanese lunch just to keep the cultural theme going. You will learn the technique of Japanese embroidery using the correct thread and needle to achieve these striking pattern designs.

Pick from one of the kits on offer to make either a pincushion, a rice bag/ craft bag, a placemat or even a draft stop as shown in the pictures. You may also create a sampler of stitches that you could turn into a project of your own choosing. Kits can be purchased on the day from $25 -$65.
