Get to know your overlocker and learn how to love using it as an integral part of your creative process.

• How do I thread it?

• Why is it making loops?

• How do I remove a thread to make a narrower thread? and why would I do this?

• How to clean and oil it.

• What threads are suitable for my overlocker?

This workshop will be a hands-on class of getting to know what you and your sewing machine can do and help you both to enjoy working together. This will be a fun way to get to know your machine.

Bring your overlocker, all its bits and pieces including the manual. Bring along four different coloured overlocker threads as we will be using different colours to learn the threading process more smoothly (eg. yellow, red, blue and green). Thread packs are available from the shop.
