Learn how to sew

Our sewing class is a great place to gain confidence in using your sewing machine and learning how to sew. You are welcome to make garments or soft furnishings and home accessories as long as we have the skills to help we are happy to guide you through the learning process. Purchase a commercial pattern or bring us an idea that you would like to see come to life.

Liz Crossland is an enthusiastic sewer that loves to share her passion for creating. Her greatest joy is introducing pupils to new skills and guiding them through the learning process. She will have you sewing in no time.

Requirements List

  • Sewing machine and manual

  • Pattern

  • Fabric, thread and all other notions required to complete the project

  • Scissors - dressmaking

  • Sewing machine needles - we do have these for sale if you need

  • Pins

  • Tape measure

  • Quick unpick

  • Marking pencil/ chalk

FRI: 1.00pm - 3.30pm

Fortnightly

THURS: 6.30pm - 9.00pm

 

Currently, spaces are available in both

Thursday Evening and Friday Afternoons.
